Skin Surgery & Skin Cancer Treatment

Skin cancer is the most prevalent of all cancers. It is estimated that more than one million Americans develop skin cancer every year.

Skin cancers don't arise from thin air. Most are caused by the sun. Up to 90% of all skin cancers are caused by exposure to the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays. And the effect is cumulative. Each unprotected exposure increases your lifetime risk of developing skin cancer.

Fortunately, most skin cancers are visible and can be diagnosed and successfully treated before they spread to other parts of the body.

In fact, many lesions can be detected and treated at a precancerous stage - the point at which their cells may be close to turning cancerous but have not yet.

At The Dermatology and Skin Care Center , we offer comprehensive screenings and examinations for those patients who have not been diagnosed with skin cancer but are concerned about their sun exposure or risk factors.
